Res 2002- 44 Approving Temporary CUP @ Dodge Nature CenterCITY OF MENDOTA HEIGHTS DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 02-44 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A TEMPORARY CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A ACCESSORY STRUCTURE FOR DODGE NATURE CENTER WHEREAS, David R. Napier of Dodge Nature Center has applied for a Conditional Use Permit for a Accessory Structure as proposed in Planning Case #02-28; and WHEREAS, The Planning Commission held a public hearing on this application at their regular meeting on July 23, 2002; and WHEREAS, The Planning Commission voted 5-0 (with two Commissioners excused) to recommend that the Council approve the Conditional Use Permit as proposed in Planning Case #02-28. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights that a Temporary Conditional Use Permit for an Accessory Structure for Dodge Nature Center as proposed in Planning Case #02-28 is hereby approved under the following conditions: 1. The applicant shall combine the two lots upon which the barn will be located and shall then inform City Staff of the lot combination, so that the permanent status of this Conditional Use Permit can be placed on a future Council agenda. 2. The Council may revoke this Temporary Conditional Use Permit at any time. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Temporary Conditional Use Permit for an Accessory Structure for Dodge Nature Center as proposed in Planning Case #02-28 under the above condition would not have an adverse impact on the health, safety, and general welfare of the citizens of the community and the surrounding land, and would not be adverse to the general purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance.
