RESOLUTION TO RESTRICT PARKING ON
TOWN CENTER BOULEVARD/HIGHWAY 110 NORTH FRONTAGE ROAD
FROM TRUNK HIGHWAY 149 TO DELAWARE AVENUE
Town Center Boulevard/Highway 110 Frontage Road, M.S.A. Project Number 140-114-01,
from Trunk Highway 149 to Delaware Avenue in the City of Mendota Heights, Minnesota.
THIS RESOLUTION was passed this 20th day of August, 2002, by the City of Mendota
Heights in Dakota County, Minnesota. The municipal corporation shall hereinafter be called the
"City"
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the "City" has planned the improvement of M.S.A. 114 (Town Center
Boulevard) from Trunk Highway 149 easterly beyond Hohenstein Drive to a point connecting to the
existing Highway 110 North Frontage Road; and
WHEREAS, the "City" will be expending off -system Municipal Street Aid Funds on the
improvements for this street; and
WHEREAS, this improvement does not provide adequate width for parking on both sides of
the street; and approval of the proposed construction as an off -system Municipal State Aid Street
project must therefore be conditioned upon certain parking restrictions.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS THEREBY RESOLVED that the City of Mendota Heights
shall ban the parking of motor vehicles at all times on the north side of M.S.A. 114 (Town Center
Boulevard) between Dodd Road and North Freeway Road, the north side of M.S.A. 114 (Town
Center Boulevard) between North Freeway Road and Hohenstein Drive except where parking bays
have been constructed, the south side of M.S.A. 114 (Town Center Boulevard) from Dodd Road to
Hohenstein Drive, and on both sides of M.S.A. 114 (Town Center Boulevard/Highway 110 North
Frontage Road) from Hohenstein Drive to Delaware Avenue.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights this 20' day of August, 2002.
