RESOLUTION 03-16
A RESOLUTION DENYING A SETBACK VARIANCE
FOR A SHED AT 1733 VICKI LANE
WHEREAS, Stephen R. Barry of 1733 Vicki Lane [Lot 19 and the southerly 3
feet of Lot 20, Block 1, Tilsen's Highland Heights] has applied for a Setback Variance
for a Shed as proposed in Planning Case #03-11; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission held a public hearing on this application
at their regular meeting on March 25, 200' ); and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission voted 5-0 to recommend that the Council
deny the Setback Variance as proposed in Planning Case #03-11.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Mendota Heights that a Setback Variance for a Shed for 17331 Vicki Lane as
proposed in Planning Case #03 -11 is hereby denied.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Setback Variance for a Shed for 1733
Vicki Lane as proposed in Planning Case #03-11 would have an adverse impact on the
health, safety, and general welfare of the citizens of the community and the surrounding
land, and would be adverse to the general purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance.
