RESOLUTION 03-60
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A SHED
AT 1924 WALSH LANE
WHEREAS, Patrick Donahue has applied for a Conditional Use Permit for a
Shed at 1924 Walsh Lane [L-7 Wagenknechts Addition, 27-83300-070-00] as proposed
in Planning Case #03-36; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission held a public hearing on this application
at their regular meeting on July 22, 2003; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission voted 6-0 (with one Commissioner
excused) to recommend that the Council approve the Conditional Use Permit for a Shed
as presented to the Planning Commission on the evening of July 22, 2003 and as shown
in Planning Case #03-36.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Mendota Heights that a Conditional Use Permit for a Shed for 1924 Walsh Lane
as proposed in Planning Case #03-36 is hereby approved on the following conditions:
1. The shed shall be no more than 384 square feet in size.
2. The applicant shall remove the existing storage shed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Conditional Use Permit for a Shed for
1924 Walsh Lane as proposed in Planning Case #03-36 under the above conditions would
not have an adverse impact on the health, safety, and general welfare of the citizens of the
community and the surrounding land, and would not be adverse to the general purpose
and intent of the Zoning Ordinance.
