RESOLUTION NO. 03-80
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING ENGINEER'S FEASIBILITY REPORT,
ORDERING OF IMPROVEMENTS AND
PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR
SANITARY SEWER AND STORM SEWER CONSTRUCTION
TO SERVE BUROW POND
(JOB NO. 200307, IMPROVEMENT NO. 2003, PROJECT NO. 1)
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has submitted his report to the City Council with
respect to the proposed construction of the following improvements to serve Burow Pond, to -
wit:
The construction of an extension to the City's sanitary sewer system, including
appurtenances and incidentals thereto, and the acquisition of easements, and where
necessary, the restoration of easements in the area hereinafter more particularly
described:
The construction of a storm sewer system including appurtenances and incidental
thereto and the acquisition of easements, and where necessary, the restoration of
easements in the area hereinafter more particularly described:
WHEREAS, Burow Pond LLP, the owners of the property, has heretofore in writing
petitioned the City council and City of Mendota Heights requesting the above described
improvements and in said petition required that the entire cost of said improvements be
assessed against the property; and
WHEREAS, the area proposed to be assessed for said improvements is situated within
the City of Mendota Heights in Dakota County, Minnesota, and is more particularly described
as follows:

WHEREAS, the City Engineer reported that the proposed improvements and
construction thereof were feasible, desirable, necessary, and cost effective, and further
reported on the proposed costs of said improvements and construction thereof, and
WHEREAS, the City Council, has heretofore directed that the City Engineer proceed
with the preparation of plans and specifications thereof, and
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the feasibility report is hereby accepted.
2. That it is desirable, advisable, expedient, feasible, cost effective and necessary that
the City of Mendota Heights construct the above described improvements, and it is
hereby ordered that said improvements be made.
3. That the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare plans
and specifications for said improvements.
4. That said improvements shall hereafter be known and designated as Improvement
No. 2003, Project No. 1.
