RESOLUTION 04 -42
A RESOLUTION APPROVING
A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AND WETLANDS PERMIT
FOR MENDAKOTA COUNTRY CLUB
FOR A RENOVATION OF THE 18TH HOLE AT 2075 MENDAKOTA DRIVE
WHEREAS, Mr. Robert McKinney has applied for a Conditional Use Permit and
Wetlands Permit on behalf of Mendakota Country Club for a Renovation of the 18th Hole at 2075
Mendakota Drive (Sec. 26, T28N, R23W) as proposed in Planning Case #04 -22; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission held a public hearing on this application at their
regular meeting on June 22, 2004; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission voted to recommend that the Council approve
the Conditional Use Permit and Wetlands Permit for a Renovation of the 18th Hole as presented
to the Planning Commission on the evening of June 22, 2004 and as shown in Planning Case #04-
22.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Mendota Heights that a Conditional Use Permit and Wetlands Permit for a Renovation of
the 18th Hole for 2075 Mendakota Drive as proposed in Planning Case #04 -22 is hereby
approved on the following conditions:
1. The Dakota County Soil and Water Conservation District shall review and approve the
proposed project.
2. The Dakota County Soil and Water Conservation District shall have the opportunity if it
so desires to monitor, review, and approve the project while it is under construction.
3. The City Engineer shall review and approve the proposed project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Conditional Use Permit and Wetlands Permit
for a Renovation of the 18th Hole for 2075 Mendakota Drive as proposed in Planning Case #04-
22 under the above conditions would not have an adverse impact on the health, safety, and
general welfare of the citizens of the community and the surrounding land, and would not be
adverse to the general purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance.
