RESOLUTION NO. 04-62
A RESOLUTION FORMALLY ACKNOWLEDGING THE RECEIPT
OF GIFTS IN 2004 TO THE CITY OF MENDOTA HEIGHTS
WHEREAS, the City of Mendota Heights desires to follow Minnesota Statute
465.03 "Gifts to municipalities" and
WHEREAS, the Minnesota State Statute requires a resolution to accept gifts to
municipalities and
WHEREAS, the City has previously acknowledged gifts without a resolution and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights have duly
considered this matter and wish to acknowledge the civic mindedness of it citizens and
officially recognize their donations.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Mendota Heights is acknowledging a new Automatic External Defibrillator
donation from the William and Martha Muska Foundation for $2500.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the City formally recognizes the following gifts
received in 2004; Wood duck houses from William and Mary Zukowski valued at $250,
Digital Camera, printer and charger from Dr. Fredrick Owens valued at $500, (2) Smith &
Wesson 9mm handguns from the Canadian Pacific Railroad valued at $1500, council
chambers television set from the Dakota Victim Offender Panel valued at $514.23, a
check for car seats from Shannon McMonigal value $25, and $100 from the West St
Paul Youth Athletic league for field use.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights this 7th day of September,
2004.
